The dawning of a new age in balancing

Europe awakens. The groundbreaking economic miracle altered the processes in industry and life in private households. Washing machines, vacuum cleaners, cars were being operated using electric motors or combustion engines. The need for balanced parts increased rapidly. High-pressure, automated processes were developed so as to cover this demand.
To this day, the automotive industry, aeronautics and astronautics, the energy and electrics industry and mechanical engineering with their constantly growing requirements are driving forces in the further development.
In the early fifties a completely new method was developed for large-volume production of crankshafts: The mass centering of crankshaft forgings or castings. This was a new process that enabled the actual axis of inertia of a crankshaft forging or casting to be determined and marked with centering holes.
